Our Client located in Cambridge is looking for an Accounting Supervisor on an 12-18 month contract basis.  Reporting to the Director of Finance, the ideal candidate will have 3+ years of Accounting experience and ideally some experience supervising a small team.  If you are a collaborative, flexible, team player this is a great opportunity to join a great organization in the local area.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly Financial statements
• Directly supervisor and mentor staff on the Accounting team
• Prepare staff payroll
• Prepare journal entries for financial statements
• File annual T4’s and quarterly HST returns
• Assist the Director of Finance with year end audit, and other year end close functions

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of Accounting experience
• 2+ years of experience in a supervisory role
• Post secondary degree/ diploma in accounting or business administration
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills
• Flexible
• Team player
