Are you looking to join a dynamic company? My client is an established company in Waterloo Region with an immediate opportunity for a Human Resources Generalist to join their team! Reporting to the HR Manager, the HR Generalist has a wide range of responsibilities.

  • Providing effective and efficient administration support to the Human Resources Department
  • Coordinating and supporting the recruitment process through posting positions, screening resumes, scheduling interviews and employee onboarding
  • Proactively work with Warehouse to manage and anticipate recruiting needs
  • Maintaining familiarity with the Company’s administration policies, procedures and routines and assist employees with the same
  • Maintaining the HRIS data base
  • Tracking statistical data such as health and safety, headcount, turnover
  • Coordinating training and development session and maintain training records
  • Assisting with the processing of benefits and pension as well as monthly and year end reporting
  • Assisting with the H & S program
  • Participate in union negotiations


  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a related role
  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources
  • CHRP designation, or in progress considered an asset
  • Previous experience with Workday considered an asset
  • Union experience is required
  • Ability to be self-directed and work under pressure
  • Full cycle recruitment experience required
